Anonymous Monday, March 29, 2010 Rating: rosettes Robert NEVER AGAIN !!!! While the meal we were served was of a good standard the service was of such poor quality it ruined what should have been a valentines dinner! I was warned by the chef that his food might give me the SQUITS, the tiolets were filthy and the waitress decided to put a reserved marker on our table for the next guest whilst we were still eating!(really made us feel welcome) Never again very poor Thursday, February 18, 2010 Rating: No rosettes Andy Mixed bag Went and had dinner.The service was very good & the staff were friendly.My friends meal looked & tasted very good.I ordered the steak and kidney Pie and found it strange considering the price of the pie that I had to pay extra for a few potatoes & there were no vegetables.The presentation of the pie was poor.Have to say it reminded me of a meal being served in a motorway service station.The pie was nice. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 Rating: rosettes Louise Fantastic! The Old Fleece is a superb pub-great atmosphere, great staff and more importantly fantastic food. This has to be one of the best places in the area to eat, good quality, fresh ingredients and reasonably priced. Visit their website www.foodclub-uk.com, I found it really good for checking up on the new menus and their diary. Thursday, January 12, 2006 Rating: rosettes Adrian Great Meal good atmosphere and VERY freindly staff, I found Ian very attentive and fufilled my every need, whilst Jess was also attentive but and made our stay very enjoyable, A great time was had by all oif us and would reccomend it to anyone. Food is always good, don't be worried about just ordering garlic bread if you just want a snack, the staff don't.. Specials always available.
