| | Will | The best pub I have ever been to | | The most amazing pub I have ever been into. The atomosphere is brilliant, the snacks (notably proper pork scratcings, toasties and the famous locally home cooked pork pies) are something else and the freindly banter in both the snug and the lounge is brilliant. What a superb place to watch the Six Nations! One you've been there once. I garauntee you will want to live in there. It is run by the best couple ever - they make an effort to know everyone. | | Thursday, February 10, 2005 | Rating: rosettes |
| | Rebecca | The Dun Cow | | The Dun Cow folk night is every Thursday night and newcomers are always welcome! | | Monday, November 22, 2004 | Rating: rosettes |
| | Robbo | Cozy real ale joint | | Just down from the Swan and Three Cygnets and opposite the red brick Victorian Administrative centre for the University.
Small establishment with a relaxed atmosphere and castle eden ales.
Folk nights on occassion and ham and cheese toasties to get those pints absorbed | | Monday, November 15, 2004 | Rating: rosettes |
