| Why o' why are the old management getting so much attention, from what i heard, they were very small fish in a great big pond. The Stanley is now vibrant, clean, buzzing with atmosphere and most of all.....run by a good manager....all the things that this Dave and Michael failed to do with it....entertainment is in the eye of the beholder......and i for one think that the bar is now a million times better than what those 2 amateurs did with it....now can we get on with talking about The Stanley and help people out there that have never been before by posting about it rather than Dave, Dave and more Dave. |

| just reading the comments here and its interesting to note that dave ex boss of the stanley is opening a cabaret bar in blackpool next session.as everybody knows when it comes to cabaret then he is probably the best for spotting and booking artist example Martin Gregory Lambert .i know dave didnt spot martin but to get such a great artist to do a summer session in a blackpool bar that tells you .and if reading any of the comments of his place in glasgow are to go by then good for blackpool lets face it blackpool needs all the help it can get.i for one will be watching to see how this affects the stanley next year |

Michael sending everyone out there a message to clarify where WE are. WE are no more, we broke up and lost the pub through pure stupidity on one persons behalf who did not have a care for anyone else but himself and ruined any chance of moving to the big stage. I am in Manchester now, living a blissful, peaceful life and never have any regrets.....i am so happy and i want to thank all those people sending in all these wonderful comments about WE, but sorry, it was all a farce, lots of bullying and abuse behind the scenes.

| Always go in for a couple when in Blackpool. Apparently £500,000 has been spent on it. But apart from moving the bar and stage doesn't seem a lot different to me. Always a good night though, and always a few hen nights in there. But you also see a few older people, so is a good mix. |

| I have the princess pub round the corner from the stanley witch is a thwaites pub to. thwaites have done everything for the stanley and nothing for the princess it not even bin painted in 12 years. but for the stanley anythink that the manager wants he gets. but i must thank the stanley as now its been done up i am getting a lot more people in drew to the rise in the drink department. so if you want a cheap night out with better entertainment come to the princess |

| A brilliant pub. We went midweek last summer. The comedian on Monday : a Mr Fizeek, was brilliant. The following night a great singer: Brad Leigh Scott. The landlord; Paul, was very friendly.

| I'm from Ireland and was in Blackpool last week, the entertainment was brilliant with a different comedian and singer every night.
I wish the had the same entertainment and fun in cabaret bar.
The ginger haired girl that works behind the bar was gorgeous and i sort of tried to let her know that i liked her but i don't think she noticed.
It would be great if she could reply to me. |
