Gorgeous Food & Location
Very impressed with range and quality of food menu and beer selection. Some beautiful pubs depend on the great location and therefore scrimp on food and drink this is definltely not one of them ,generous portions in a stunning location.

15thC country pub. Beautiful.
I popped in to this pub for a pint today. I was the only customer in my side of the bar as it had only just turned 11am. I had an interesting chat with the landlady who told me that the building dates back to the 1400s. The condition of the pub is pristine. Although I didn't sample the food, I formed the impression that they take their cuisine very seriously. Apparently Oliver Reed used to frequent this pub so its' credentials as a watering-hole cannot be questioned. The most outstanding things about this pub were the friendliness of the landlady, the condition of the pub and the location.
