Horseshoe Inn, Warrington

I feel I must add a comment after seeing the comment from Jo Johnson.
The Horseshoe Inn pub food is as good as it gets. We went in the restaurent two weeks ago.
It is silver service and a completely different menu. Although it is relatively expensive in the restaurant, the meal was definitely one of the best we have ever had.
We eat out frequently and have patronised some of the best establishments in Manchester, so can speak with some authority.

Food is still okay although portions are small unlike the prices, choice could be more varied and the veg are always cold. Apart from the food standards having slipped so has the cleaning regime and the place is grubby and uncared for with plenty of cobwebs and grime. Picture was completed by the extremely indifferent bar staff so what has always been a favourite eating place of mine is off limits for me for a while.
