About the Pub
The Greyhound is situated on the corner of Cambridge and Hugh Street in the heart of Victoria SW1.

Although it was built back in the 1860's, and survived the wars the pub was closed down back in 2002, and remained derelict ever since. It is an amazing example of a grade 2 listed Victorian building, with most of the original features (including the bar) as part of the listing.

Neil Collins
The Owners Siobhan and Neil, who were born, grew up and still live in the local area, reopened The Greyhound at the beginning of December 2011.

Offering a warm friendly welcome with a good comfortable atmosphere, we want to keep it as a traditional, family friendly local pub that serves good beer, wine and food.

We've struggled to find a decent pub in the Victoria area but stumbled across The Greyhound when going to the Thai restaurant opposite. The Greyhound is really really friendly, nice mix of people, outdoor seating, decent selection of wines and reasonable prices. A good find in an area of overpriced places catering for tourists or groups of office workers on the lash .Recommended.

Mr A. Norman
The Greyhound
The Greyhound, Pimlico.

I was intrigued to find that this pub had re-opened as it was my local many years ago. I paid a visit on 10th August 2013. The pub has been refurbished very nicely and I was quite impressed by the conversion of the cellar area into a restaurant.
However, the real ales were truly appalling and the service was slow despite the pub being fairly quiet. The bar staff seemed to enjoy chatting rather than serving.
Overall I left disappointed, shame.

It closed! Has been empty for two years.
Was looking for its address for some reason, your website came up and I noticed you were still mentioning it. Thought I'd spare someone a journey!
