Kate
disapointing
Having been to the Three Elms under its previous owners I was very disapointed. Menu is now smaller and run of the mill pub grub.

Only one vegetarian option - Brie tart which I explained I was unable to eat because I was pregnant. Chef unable to suggest an alternative.

What a shame, the food used to be excellent.

Great Food worth the journey
When I read review of a place and they are as good as the one's about this place I am always suspect that the owner and his mates have written all the comments to get people in the place, especially the lady who wrote about the chef being cute, he looked like a bit of a bruiser to me well let me say that fortunately he cooks like an angel and that is not the case in this establishment. If your in the area you have got to try the food, freshly cooked not the usual pub microwave job or deep fat fryer stuff that comes from most pub kitchens. I would go as far as to say this is a restaurant as the quality of food is far superior to most if not all pubs i have eaten in and a lot of so called bistro/restaurents that charge double the price for not even a third of the quality. A must place to try because like me I am sure you will go back.

Great roast on Sunday
not really a pub grub man but as a local in the area thought I would give this a try, the last time i was past this place it was shut down. this time went in for a few beers and after seeing the food come out of the kitchen I thought I would order. What a great surprise. although roast pork is easy to do it is very difficult to do well. All I can say is that the crackling was the best I have ever had and the veg was just right again simple do do but as we all know some places can screw this up as well. Also had the bread and butter pudding and again i would have been just happy eating that it was great. I want to try all the deserts as what I saw coming out looked really good and if the bread and butter was anything to go by then the rest should be as good

great, great and great again
I have very funny dietry requirements and the chefs are only too willing to help me as everything is cooked to order so I can chop and change, apart from that the quality is spot on and the amount you get is just fine, cos the deserts are out of this world.................very talented chefs who know their stuff, and always have a smile on their faces and always have a chat..........as it should be, I like that............good staff as well. Please pay a visit and see for yourselves.

Great food
Last week i was recomended to try the Three elms in chignal st james. I went down there taking my Mum and dad for my Dads Birthday to be greeted by a warm smile. I ordered the 28 day hung beef as beef is my favourite and im not joking it was the best meat i'v ever tasted rare and melts in ur mouth. and if that was it you have to be kidding i also after had a chocolate pudding and being a chef myself i know dat it is very hard getting a nice as chocolate pudding as that. After thinking that the bill would empty my wallet i was amazed to see that the price was very well set and i am recomending it to everyone i know. A bloody good meal.

suprising
I am a butcher at the meat market in london and i'm so suprised of the quality of the meat used here, the beef is to die for, I had a rib eye of quality top places in London would be pushed to match, very cheap for the quality, as I know what it costs. My Girlfriend had a salad that was just class, fresh herb leaves giving bursts of flavour....................not pile em high food, so we had a desert, cheesecake...............class.............keep up the good work.

Fantastic all round
The food is great and the staff are more than freindly as long as customers control their kids running around screaming and shouting blocking door ways.
Will surely be back for more. Well done.
