Live Music
I saw a band in this pub the other week ....T-Base I think they were called. They were excellent , great songs , great moves and the audience loved them! Reminded me of the Rolling Stones crossed with Take That .
A wonderful evening , great beer , great entertainment and a lovely bite to eat !

Will it still be here soon?
I love the Newt but that back room never seems to have anyone in it. I just hope that it doesn't go under or I'll have to start drinking in that stupid new fun pub called The Grange. And I'm not keen to have to walk up there every night.

THE NEWTON HALL IS TOP QUALITY!!!
The Newton Hall is my local and it is class. There is never any bother. The beer is 2.40 a pint which is no more expensive than any other pub in the area bar one or two which are full of skum anyway.
The pub does nice food and plays the footie it has a toilet for you to wee in and a non smoking area that is out the back. The pub has recently been renovated and it 1000% better than it used to be. There is live music on a friday night.

A class pint
The Newt has been touched by the hand of God , its had a revamp , a face lift , a bit nip and tuck and the atmosphere replaced.

The best boozing establishment on the estate.

Quality drink , excellent staff , top notch grub made by Davey the Chef ...a quality boozer .

Waste of concil house land
The Newton Hall is a hole. It is overpriced (2.40 a pint anyone? - welcome to the London of the North) for a pint of average tramp lager. The staff are miserable and rude, whilst the regulars seem stuck in the miners strike of the 1970's. With city centre pubs only a mile and a half away this pub is dying a slow death. Investment needed? This place needs an investment of Chelsea style proportions

THE NEWT
The Newton Hall, otherwise known as the NEWT has a lot of potential although the interior is a little shabby. Give the place a revamp and its one of the best pubs in Durham!!!
