No Way
My self and friends go in yates a lot especially weekends its ok in the Preston one apart from having to pay at a certain time what a load of rubbish they get enough out of people with the beer stop charging people to get in the bar then you might not feel the credit crunch as much

Grubby and dozy staff
Went a couple of weeks ago for lunch with kids and friends. Bar staff wre more interested in what they got up to at the weekend than serving customers. Bar person was unable to change draft coke???,I myself have worked in a bar and I paid attention to training. She was also ignorant and unfriendly.Dirty tables uncleared from last diners. Try employing staff with manners rather than tits and 3' make up.Used to be one of my regulars I'll go Manyana's instead.

DIRTY
Its always dirty beer every where on tables, floors and seats.

Its not nice have a meal off a table that is all sticky and covered in food.
I blame the management.

Too crammed
Whenever i go in Yates it feels like an old peoples home.
The dirty old men seem to wonder over from the Stanley and oggle at the young women.
Drinks are reasonably priced though

Called in to for lunch to Yates 04/05/05 with my daughter & sister.
Had to sit at a dirty table and move the dirty dishes and glasses to another dirty table the waitress didn't come and wipe our table even though the place was quiet. I ordered Cajun chicken salad which was disgusting, re-formed chicken brown lettuce and 1 cherry tomato, the garlic bread was burnt with hardly any butter on. The waitress asked if we wanted anything else and when asked for mayo we were told to go and get our own why ask!!! Will not be back.

Would never visit again
Have been regular visitor to different Yates due to cheap and cheerful meals, especially when with the kids. Have previously excused shabby experience because of this but having visited Preston Yates would never go again. Floors, tables, seats, toilets, in fact everything was disgustingly dirty. Having asked to have table cleaned, waitress flicked the food onto the seats and onto my daughter who was sat there. Strongly recommend you do not go there.

Great place!
Very nice place looks great but the only thing I don't like is that there is too much light! It's a bit expensive but if you don't have money then don't go out!! As being from Holland I loved the more modern style, will go back soon!
