Situated at the top of this very popular Bohemian street the Basement (in the basement) is extremely popular with young people. It has a large central circular bar which has tables to one side made to look like tank tyres. Around the other side of the bar has become a popular eating area. The menu is mainly Mexican and priced very reasonably. It is advisable to book a table to eat on weekends as this is a very busy place. The bar is well stocked and the staff work hard to keep on top of the rush!

Superb, worth a visit.
One of the best places I have eaten in Edinburgh. Superb staff, very friendly & their timing is excellent. The food is in a class of it's own. Highly recommend you try it.
