The only injustice in calling this pub 100% perfect is the fact that it somehow manages to improve every time I go in. The food and drink is exemplary as well as being sensibly and thoughtfully priced.

We had an amazing Sunday roast at the pub today. The food was truly first class and the deserts were fantastic. The service was excellent. I really can say this is a fantastic pub.

Quite literally one of the best pubs in the country. Everything a good boozer should be, but with top grub as well. I cannot reccomend this pub highly enough.

Tucked away in the Mount Pleasant area of St Albans this very popular traditional English pub is a delight! A good range of real ales which are consistently mouth watering, friendly and welcoming ambience. The food is absolutely SUPERB! Try it, you will not be disappointed
