Most horrendous place ever - saw the staff kicking a foreigner and being SO RUDE to them just because they were not english. SHOCKING behaviours, this place should be closed.

Of course, you're right about BBB's #3 and CCB's #6 conitsg less and having greater frequency, but the FlyAway from Westwood has free Wi-Fi and, more importantly, gets to LAX faster than both bus lines, because it travels non-stop using the 405 carpool lane. Plus both of those public transit lines end outside the actual airport terminals so one has to transfer to the LAX shuttle buses that then do the curbside drop-off service at all airport terminals. Finally, the FlyAway is more convenient for people traveling with multiple pieces of luggage, or luggage bigger than carry-on size. Cheaper than a taxi or shuttle van yet worth the cost for the non-stop convenience, the Westwood FlyAway is a great way to getaway. And here's another use' of FlyAway most people don't think about: If you have a car, when friends/relatives/colleagues fly in to LAX to visit, they often expect or ask you to fight traffic and pick them up. Instead, you can have them take the Westwood FlyAway from LAX north to Westwood, and pick them up here in Westwood Village, saving you time, stress and money (either from parking at LAX or wasting fuel circling the terminal).

Mrs Lambert Delightful Pub
We were taken out to dinner by some friends just after christmas to this delighful village pub. The pub itself was warm & cosy with its real log fire burning. The staff were very friendly and the quality of real ales made my husband very happy (he tried them all). We ate in their restaurant upstairs, which overlooks the bay (superb views). The food was to die for and all in all we had a great night. Can't wait to return again!!!

Guy Grenville What a disgrace
The worst eating experience I have ever had. We all ordered the soup for starters (mushroom), and when it arrived, we notice that it was tinned (heinz we think), mixed with some cream. Although it seemed ok, one of our party didn't like the taste and asked the waitress if she could change it for another starter. The waitress came back and told us that the chef said that we should finish our drinks and find somewhere else to eat. This completely shocked us. When we complained to the manager (who I suspect was also the chef) she stated that if we weren't happy with the starter, there was little chance of us liking the main course. Her attitude towards us was dismissive and downgrading, we were made to feel like we were the one's at fault. Avoid at all costs.

David Wainwright Great Local Boozer
What a wonderful watering hole. Friendly publicans with cheerful staff make for an inviting pub. Popular with locals and out-of-towners like me are made most welcome. Beautifully kept beer, clean, fragrant lavatories, a curious collection of hats, jukebox (free Sundays) and cosy ambience have my friends and me returning each time we visit Ramsgate.

I was disgusted when I set foot in that pub. It was dirty and stank! I also did not like the fact that it was so cramped and small! I found that the staff were not as friendly as some of the pubs I have been in and they seened to only really talk pleasantly with the locals! I will not be entering that building ever again!

Robert Edwards A local pub for local people.
This pub is very small as to be claustrophobic. The regulars are unremarkable. Its position on a street corner with a heavy flow of road traffic makes drinking there extremely hazardous. Vehicles have twice entered the corner doorway, thankfully with no casualties. For real ale fanatics!

Janet Tyson Family Link to Pub
We have discovered, in tracing the family tree, that Milbourne Silvester was a manager - we think of this pub! He was living there, as a 10 y.o. in 1881, worked there in 1901, and was listed as former manager in a newspaper article of 1940. Anyone know anything more?!
