 Must try it!
I have just read in the Lancaster Guardian about the Bull's Head having a new landlady and doing so well - I didn't even know it existed as I usually only travel straight through on the A6.
With all the good recommendations about it, we must give it a try!

Still the same traditional, and brilliant pub. If all pubs were like The Stork Inn, then few would be going out of business..!

 Great loss
What a great loss to the UK!

The pub was one of the most friendliest and happiest places I had ever been lucky enough to stumble across! Great people that ran it - shame the Landlady isnt there anymore - a total asset to The Bulls head!

 New Inn Yealand Conyers
I dined there Saturday and the food was excellent. Mushrooms in a garlic and herd sauce topped with a stilton crust was delicious and wasaccompanied with a beautiful side salad consisting of the usual plus strawberries, orange and possibly mango. Sat outside at the front, it was peaceful, relaxing and beautiful.

 The Bulls Head
Went to the Bulls Head whilst driving my way through to Scotland. What a lovely place. The new ownes have only just taken over a few short weeks ago, but what a diffeence. A friendly smile, a great atmosphere and an even better pint! Can't wait to see what the food menu has to offer in the new year, BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Very Unhappy
Had a surprise 50th Party here in Nov 2006. Due to bad management they had overbooked entertainment forcing the organisers to pay an extra 120. Due to spending extra money the buffet was not paid for (bad food anyway) so the party was stopped halfway through the night and all attendees evicted!!!

 Quality Pub
A decent pub with good food. Also has a beer garden. Good selection of beers. Clientel can be a bit 'poncy' at times, but better that than the chavs eh?!

 A pub worth visiting
A lovely old traditional pub with a warm welcome from the management and staff. Service was quick, efficient, friendly and professional. Food was of a high quality and real ale a must have!
Definately worth a visit. We asked for the manager and a young gentleman called Chris took his time to point out areas to visit and places to see.

 Oh Dear!!!
After stumbling upon the pub/restaurant a few months ago, we have been frequent visitors, almost weekly. The food was good, the staff were pleasant, it was clean and the managers were very good at making people feel welcome and at home. HOWEVER, we visited again a week before christmas after a break of about three weeks. Well what a difference, The place looks rather unkept and dingy. The menu has been transformed from something for everyone to what can only be described as Hotel style food. Very expensive and not especially good! What a shame! The staff all look like they're on death row. I left a tip just because i felt sorry for them. I asked one of the staff i recognised if everything was alright and she said yes, fine, just new managers!?! Maybe the brewery should think about getting the old ones back. We even noticed that a lot of the regular guests we used to see weren't there and when asked, the waitress just said a lot of them didn't come in anymore!!! None of my business i know, but maybe the brewery need to think a little harder before taking on managers who haven't got a clue how to make a good pub atmosphere. We won't be going back, but if anyone knows if the old managers are still in the local area please let us know, we're looking for a good pub again after whats happened to the kings arm???

Mrs Talbot
I am a neighbour on the street and all i can say about this pub is that it lets young teens in that i am most certain they turn a blind eye to drug dealing.
There are a number of fights through the week and sunday has got to be the worst night.
If you want to be intimiaded by young youths this is the pub to go to.
