 Clint Eastwood films' music
I used to drink here end of 1968 with Perry, my boyfriend at the time. We were studied at the college. I remember it was cosy and dark and the Music was always something from a Clint Eastwood Cowboy film, The Good the bad and the ugly or Hang em High. Good times....

the red cow that runs the pub is going, i have a meeting tommorow to see about taking this pub on. the red cow thats run it, will be replaced by the blonde bitch, yup my missus. we hope people will come and give the pub another go if we take it over. we like a laugh, we love music, and i keep a bloody good pint especially guinness. the lovely lady keeps a good bar.

 Not black anymore.....
This pub is now called the Terriers, prolly due to stupid PC rules... but anyway the name has changed as has the ownership, but one thing still remains the same is it's not very good pub

 Hmmm
It's not even as good as Lizi describes, plus occasionaly you get the smelly local bikers in there, I don't like them and they are so rude.... but better than the Chavs ;-)

freezing cold, no customers and no heating
Arrived at 7.30 in evening 3 customers in bar, no barman until 7.45. A customer said 'oh he'll be back in a few minutes, he always disappears' 15 minutes later he appeared. He then proceeded to be quite rude to us saying if youre too cold put your coat back on. At least 1 of the other customers was sitting there shivering so he said well you should have bought some gloves then. Could not have had worse service any where. Also a sign outside states food served all day, we asked for a menu and were told 'we ain't done no food here for 2 years' I asked why the sign and was told 'we can't be bovvered to get rid of that'.

I visited this pub with my family on Boxing Day for a lunchtime drink. The Pub was in a disgusting state ,Graffitti scratched all over the table some of it filthy. The toilets were disgusting and looked as if they had not been cleaned for months needless to say there were only about four people in the pub when we arrived which is not a very good advert for the business.Four or five years ago this pub was loveley. it was clean and served very nice food/I dont know if they serve food now but I would not eat in a place like that.I think the Wendover Arms could be a lovely pub in the right hands.Whoever owns this pub should pull their finger out and get it sorted.

 Friendly, clean, good decor, entertainment
This is a pub with a great atmosphere and friendly landlady, Pat. She keeps her customers happy with entertainment nights including live music and special dinners. Look out for female trio, Kindred Spirit, playing on one of Pat's special nights on Saturday, December 9th. Bitters are London Pride plus two guest bitters, which will vary. Usual lagers plus extra cold Carling & Carlsburg. Also Guiness, Cider etc.

 FANTASTIC !!!
Friendly staff, good food, clean (toilets are brilliant) Since buying the Lease the Landlord (Chris) and Landlady (Cass) have really turned this place around from when it was owned by a large chain. Will definately visit again.

Old Fashioned Local filled with characters
Just outside Wycombe town centre The Gordon as it's known by it's regulars mostly avoids the brawls & shenanigans associated with yobbo hangouts in the middle of town. Although their pints are a bit pricier, long time Landlord Pete Purkiss had a great reputation for how expertly he kept his beers. Unfortunately he had a severe stroke in 2005 so it remains to be seen if his exacting standards are maintained. This is a great place to meet some of life's real characters & put the world to rights by talking a load of old bollocks while enjoying a singularly good pint amid friendly company.

 A nice friendly relaxed pub
I have used the Bell in Wycombe for about 1 year now and although it went through a rough patch with a manager called Gary, it has now changed and John who is there is a great guy. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed, no loud music and always someone to have a laugh with. My wife (who isn't a great pub fan!) likes it too and is totally comfortable going in there on her own (only to wait for me!). The food has always been great but there are some new people running the kitchen and the presentation is excellent it tastes great and is altogether great. A first class pub!. The only thing is that the prices are higher than some, but the great atmosphere and secure feeling that you get when in there make up for that. I'd rather pay the prices!!

Revamped interior of late and now starting to show quality bands at the weekends - this pub is now a decent place to have a pint on a Friday night and worth a look.

 Goth pub
Used to be a great Goth pub in the 80's until the owners sold it, and it went a bit more up market. Wonder where all the 2000's goths drink now??
