6 dart boards and 2 pool tables in the Porters make it a great social venue.
Lunch time toasties and sandwiches are just great.

 artillery arms
best pub in the area -good beer and a friendly staff landlord Peter the lovely Monica and Zoltan amongst others. This is a pub you can walk into and relax in. The pub is full of city workers during the week until early evening and then frequented by the local clientele. Its a nice friendly place and quiet (no loud music). great local pub.

Thia lunchtime food, darts and pool tables
Top bar really,,found it by mistake looking for a toilet..Went downstairs, manager was really polite and helpful.
Great Thia food at lunch..musics quite good too,not too loud,Adnams and London Pride on draught.
City suits and blonde secretary types everywhere, you either know where it is,or you fall upon it by chance,,highly recommended though, probably has the best pool tables in the square mile,2 dart boards too.
Didnt like the fact that no sky sports ,although use of a freeview box is used I think.
Only real downside ,is the beer isnt the cheapest in town,3 for Fosters.Still,I would def go back for more.

 Rude, rude, rude, rude
Such a frustrating place. The food is excellent and a lovely place to sit outside in the summer, but the staff, one gentlemen in particular, is incredibly rude. I can't believe he hasn't been sacked or left as he is so miserable.

Don't go unless they get new staff. I would be embarrassed if I owned the place.

great pub but this is wrong number its 02072781022
good staple pub-ish food, this is not technically a gastro pub along the lines of the eagle but what it does it does well. also good selection of wine for a pub. great atmosphere, mainly due to the very laid back and friendly staff who provide excellent service (unlike the nearby crown on clerkenwell green). they also allowed us to bring our large dog in, top marks.

The taster
A fine stop off point for Liverpool Street though best avoided on Football days. Food looks good and its a Weatherspoons ,so relatively cheap for London

Draugh tAbbot recommended

Well what a lovely pub. It has the atmosphere of a local pub, as the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Quick service (unusual in the city), great atmosphere and great food- what more can you ask for?

The best thin crust pizzas for your money!
Although you won't find ales here, you'll enjoy excellent thin crust pizzas and very good restaurant-like food that you don't find in most pubs - all for a very reasonable price. And if you're wondering how, the chefs were former restaurant chefs. The music is good and quite varied, yet not too loud. Topped off with friendly service - you won't want to go anywhere else!!
