Looking for fifi fritchy bushey hill road

I visited guildford in 1984 and Tony was the owner back then. I used to play darts at the pub and ran into a delightful delicate women named fifi. She work as a professional financial analysist and actress as well. We became good friends and she introduced me to her parents , the mother a doctor and the father a race car driver. Anyway, I lived in Guilford for at 4 months and got to know quite a few individuals. One of them Louis and Allison , who , also lived on Bushey hill rd. and we had a ball. My passport was stolen when I had went back to the states and with it the phone contacts. If possible forward my name and email , would you please.

Cheers !

Maurice DuBois of Northampton, Massachusetts a good British name don't you think !

 Just fine
I ate at this pub recently and we had Sunday roast lamb which was just fine. The service was impressively quick. I'd recommend it.

Got to be one of the most run down pubs the area (apart from The Royal). Regulars travel here from local authority accomodation and you will soon notice what a dim, unpleasant bunch they seem to be. Needs a refurb, new manager and get the food side going. Put the prices up a bit to discourage the pond life.

 appalling food
Described as a delicious roast chicken with sage and onion gravy and a herbed yorkshire pudding with seasonal veg....... totally misleading. A chicken portion, (leg) a yorkshire pudding that shattered when cut, bland gravy and over cooked minimal servings of brocoli and cauliflower with an undercooked parsnip...... plus the delight of shrivelled hard roast potatoes. We will not be dining there again.

A little frayed around the edges but still a good pint and some good banter to be had here, plus Ho' Ho's is up the road for a chinese takeaway after.

 Home from home
We spent a few days in Guidlford and our regular became the Royal Oak Pub in Trinity Churchyard. The Management, Mary and Ray Tabone are just great people and they have brilliant staff to compliment them. Nothing was a problem to them and the food also was excellent. Would recommend this pub to both anyone visiting the area and locals too. We will visit again next year for sure.
