Travellers Rest margaret coxon Stoke on Trent excellent service and food
Visited the travelers rest for the first time this christmas .Went with large group on first visit then just the two of us for the second visit.Both meals excellent,brillient service warm and friendly.So good we have booked for a Birthday meal.Would recommend .

This is the best pub in Penkhull with live music on Tuesday Friday and first Sunday of every month. Joe and Jill are great hosts, meals are also served along with Sunday roast. they also show all live prem matches what more can you ask for .

they didn't have a card machine either when i went with my family, but the staff were very friendly & we were treated well...the food was lovely & of good value, though when we were asked what desserts were avaliable we werent given a menu we were just told what they had. When my sister & son said they would have the homemade chocolate cake they didn't mention that the cost would be £6.00 each!!!!!! a shock when we got the bill....so beware!

Clough Hall Hotel Local resident Stoke on Trent Rubbish
Kevan has drove a good pub into the ground. His mum and dad built it up and practicaly handed it over to him, he's just let it go. He stopped doing food about 2 years ago and the whole pub has gone downbank since. The place is empty !!!

lovely oldy worldy pub and restaraunt set in beautiful surroundings. Fine ale and delicious food. Super staff and a brilliant inn keeper. Cannot wait to return - thanks Steve for the hospitality.

Leopard Hotel Mick Penning Stoke on Trent Immediately evocative on entry...
Used this Pub for over 50 years, as a casual 'drop-in', -never as a regular local but always felt completely comfortable in whatever room in this extensive and history making hostelry. Attended many functions here too in the excellent Arnold Bennett Function Room -situated down the corridor and at the quiet rear of the building (away from the madding crowd -yet still 'in touch' as one wanders back and forth to 'top up the pot'.....Memorable. NB Marvellous olde worlde tiled wall toilets down the wide staircase to the spacious basement facilities.

Oddfellows Arms Joan Butterworth Stoke on Trent
My Aunt & Uncle ran this pub in the 60's so I just about grew up in the place.....I moved to NZ in 1970 and didnt get back to UK till 2001 and I headed straight for the engine house as they used to call it. its changed a bit but man oh man the memories came flooding back...the beer was good and the company better. i would go back again no problem there

Brindley's Lock Public House Lee Stoke on Trent Great Pub, Fantastic Atmophere, Amazing Staff
The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, chatting and smiling. Within minutes of entering the bar, we'd been invited for a game of pool, and were propping up the bar chatting with the locals. The bar is well stocked, with crisps, nuts and chocolate bars to go with the alcohol and soft drinks. Prices are good, and the food is excellent. There is a selection of games machines, and dart board aswell as TV with Sky. This is a great venue to visit with a family, partner, or to book for a gathering. There is a good size DJ booth, with Ipod connection if you require a playlist, as well as lighting and kareoke, and plenty of room to dance. A huge car park adds to the convenience of this venue, with good lighting so you feel safe. All in all a great warm welcoming night out.

Fawn & Firkin Betty Stoke on Trent Friendly Local
The fawn is by far the best pub in shelton, possibly even in stoke on trent. The staff are friendly the beer and the food are cheap, and you will always find a member of staffs uni ultimate frisbee team (mental discs) there with a pint!! What more could you want??

Clough Hall Hotel Duncan Johnson Stoke on Trent Great food for value prices, friendly atmosphere.
Local community pub in one of the nicer parts of Kidsgrove, The Clough Hall has been transformed in the last 6 years laregly due to the efforts of Kevan the landlord. There is a range of normal lagers and several cask ales including a varied guest beer. The quality of the beer is second to none and I've never had a bad pint. A big effort has been made recently with the food side of the pub, with an obvious emphasis on good quality, varied menu for fair prices. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and not too smokey.

White Lion Swedish Stokie Stoke on Trent The best pub I have ever been to
The White Lion in Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent, this is the best pub I have ever been to. The landlady is wonderful, the regulars great and the ale is fantastic. On top of that, it is a Stoke City pub. What more can you ask for? I make long trips just to have a pint or twelve in this pub.

Foxley Les Stoke on Trent Very clean and friendly pub.
The Foxley Inn is now run by Lilly and Ken, the pub is at its best in my opinion and I have seen at least 5 landlords come and go. GOOD LUCK TO KEN AND LILLIY FOR 2005.
