 Closed?
The Crown is closed at the moment and is in the midst of being entirely gutted. Anyone know whether it's set to reopen as a pub, or whether it's being converted?

 Been a while...
I used to go in here every fri & sat to kick off the weekends boozing. Very nice setting and overall well kept - going back a bit tho - apart from the odd occasion when the canal's been dishing out a bit of a whiff!
Decent beer as well... Although you may need to re-mortgage if you intend supping there every night!

 Best pub in the area!
Pub with large lounge with entertainment and a bar with pool and darts. Entertainment fantastic! Was the end of an era with Chris, Chris & John finsihed in the 80's. But still kept it going with locals providing alot of singing etc. Always was the best in the precinct even when there were 7 pubs to crawl, and it's practical sole survival is proof of this!

 Lounge & Vault
Large comfy lounge, vault with pool and darts, tv. Used to be a very lively pub but in recent years has gone downhill. Think its due to the criminals in the area making the locals fearful to go out at night.
